Vandeventer Orchestra Booster Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Vandeventer Orchestra Booster Club is to maintain and strengthen a keen interest in the various parts of the Orchestra Department for the students, staff, and parents.  It will strive to lend all possible support, both moral and financial, which will help promote the general activities of the Orchestra Department at VMS.

Volunteer Opportunities

 

Dear Parents,

 

Throughout the year there are a handful of events that require parent volunteers. Please consider volunteering a bit of your time to one or more of our events this year.

 

You must complete all of the necessary application information for FISD, this has to be renewed at the beginning of each academic school year. It will not take long to complete, but give yourself a week to be processed. This is for our student's safety. ​

 

FISD Board Policy requires that each volunteer and chaperone undergo a background check. They will need to create a VOLY account by visiting https://friscoisd.voly.org.

​

You will be prompted to complete the background check during your VOLY account creation process. Keep an eye on your inbox for your background check approval (the process can take up to 3-5 business days). VOLY will send you customized e-mails with opportunities that may interest you for volunteering.

Family and community members must complete a background check once every year starting in July.
